Insert injection moulding

In insert injection moulding, plastic is combined with a part from another material

The advantage of this method is that an insert can be completely overmoulded with plastic. The inserts, which are usually made of metal, are inserted into the mould by hand before injection moulding and then overmoulded. For small series, we do not use automated handling, which would involve a disproportionately high effort and would only be profitable for very large quantities.
